Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
This full-day course explains the controls and processes affecting the export from the USA and reexport from abroad of commodities, software and technical data that are used in civilian or dual use applications under the Export Administration Regulations. These regulations are administered and enforced by the Bureau of Industry and Security and apply to all United States persons, including certain foreign operations of US-based companies. The relationship to the regulations administered by the Bureau of the Census, such as export Powers of Attorney, and their affect on export documentation is reviewed.
