This half-day course reviews the documents most commonly used in international trade

• Commercial invoice,
• Packing list,
• Shipper's letter of instruction,
• Certificates of origin, etc.

It introduces participants to the Foreign Trade Statistics Regulations ("FTSR") of the Bureau of the Census. Important terms such as "Principal Party in Interest" and "routed export transaction" are explained. Emphasis is placed on helping the participants understand the importance of their role in the Automated Export System process.
