This half-day course provides background as to:

• The evolution of the terms,
• Their importance to the international sales process between sellers buyers and
• A basic explanation of the thirteen current terms, along with the rights and obligations of each party, provided by the International Chamber of Commerce under INCOTERMS 2000.

Definitions are provided to help minimize the confusion caused by the universal interpretation of the terms. Exercises and plenty of examples help reinforce and clarify the application of terms for the participants based upon their required usage.
