Paul H. Savoie
Paul H. SavoiePresident & CEO
Before starting FTS Associates, Inc., Paul spent twenty-five years working for three different U.S. manufacturers and exporters, handling everything from contracts management and export licensing, to creating and managing their export compliance programs. Paul has fifty years of International Trade experience.

Early in his career, Paul set U.S. Commerce Department precedent by gaining approval to export restricted systems to the former Soviet Union. During this two-year project, Paul engaged numerous U.S. government agencies, US Senators and Representatives, National Security Council members, Ambassadors, and European Deputy-Ministers to influence the approval. This ability caught the attention of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, (“CSIS”). This Washington, DC research group invited Mr. Savoie to participate in a review of U.S. export controls. With leaders from the public and private sectors, he influenced the development of congressional testimony, which eventually paved the way for the easing of U.S. export controls.

Paul received his Bachelor of Arts from St. Anselm’s College in Manchester, New Hampshire. He is fluent in both French and Spanish and has lived abroad and traveled the world extensively. Paul is married with three children, and enjoys traveling and gardening.
